Big week for Lola!!!

What a week! we started off with a watchful eye on Coco Tuna fish. (She is doing MUCH better and got her cast of yesterday) Lola got to visit with her Great Aunt from Washington, and she has been moving along the milestones this week! My growing little love bug! As I said in a previous post... Lola started trying to stand. Well, the little dare-devil is now standing for up to 15 seconds on her own. She is also doing the "transfer" while standing. It will not be long before she walks! She is really super cute when she falls on her bum :) she looks at me like "Whoa, what was that?" The little Miss also decided today that she had to feed herself her oatmeal. I would put the spoon by her mouth and she would grab it so I decided to let her have at it. I put her bowl of oatmeal in front of her and she started trying to pick it up with her hands, it was the funniest thing to watch! I then showed her how to use the spoon and she started doing it on her own. It was really messy and well worth it! She also has been very adamant about letting her read me her books! That has been one of the greatest parts of parenting for me... watching my little girl learn how to do things independently from me. Every time she is able to conquer a task on her own she gets so happy... and that is what makes it all worth it! It makes me so happy for her and makes me feel like I have accomplished a lot by teaching her and allowing her to do these things on her own. God, I love this kid!
