Very disappointed...

Lola and I stopped by Baby Gap yesterday on the hunt for a cute winter hat... I spotted a very adorable white sweater beanie and fell in love with it...

I always check what type of materials are used to make clothing... I am kind of a cotton snob because it's practical and comfortable. Not that the hats would be neccessarily cotton but I still always check. Well would you imagine my suprise to see that one of the materials to make the hat is rabbit.... really? rabbit on my 6 month old? Come on! Now I understand the whole wool thing because a sheeps wool grows continually (I grew up with barn animals lol) and when they are not groomed there wool will become matted and very uncomfortable for them so it is a win win situation. But a bunny? I don't know about any of you but I had pet bunnies growing up and Peter Cottontail is not supposed to be shaved. Sorry. How many freaking bunnies did they shave? seriousley!

I think my friend Shawna said it best "We love bunnies... we don't wear them."

There are other ways to make your products soft baby gap! Geez!
