The last 2 months

The last 9 weeks have been amazing... I finally started a "public" blog (since blogging on myspace sucks) to keep everyone updated on my journey. Lola was born May 18th, 2008 and it was the greatest day of my life. Labor was a pain (haha) and when I finally pushed that little monkey out I had become a new person. I could have cared less what was going on with me or the pain I was going through. She was georgous and I had (with the help of Steven of course) made this beautiful creature. The most amazing feeling in my life was when they swaddled her and put her in my arms and wheeled me to my recovery room. I felt like the proudest momma in the world and everyone we walked by said either "congratulations" or "what a pretty baby!"
I felt like the luckiest woman on the face of the earth. They had her room in with me which was also amazing because I didn't want to let her out of my sight let alone let anyone even touch my perfect little angel! From day one she was most comfortable in my arms and although my back may protest I love that she loves to be so close! She is a co-sleeping angel that loves to be cuddled up right next to me! I swear I move away from her and she finds a way to grunt and squiddle her way right back cuddled next to me. Her Daddy loves her so much... he likes to play songs for her and said the other night, "Lola can sleep with us for as long as she wants... till she is at least 2! I don't want anyone coming in here and stealing her" SO cute and protective already! Could you imagine? the poor girl? How would you like to have Steve as your Dad when you are in high school. No boyfriends for her! I always say to Steve that he reminds me of Hulk Hogan when we watch that show because he is so protective of his daughter... "There is you in 18 years" he just chuckles because he knows it is true. We love our little monkey so much! Now if you will excuse me I am going to grab my little angel and snuggle with her.
