A much needed Update

Hello all! It has been a long time I know. I am working on a much needed update. I am planning on turning this into a book for Lola. So, from now on all posts will be addressed to her :)

Baby Einstein

Every Mother says they believe there children are geniuses at one point or another.... but I am floored at what my little 13 month old just did, so I have to share...

She has "bath letters" that she plays with each night in the bath. She found the "Z", held it up, and proceeded to say, "zzzzzzzzzzz" to her Daddy. Might I add that she did this all on her own???


all I have to say is, "WOW"...

What's been going on???

Well.... We have been busy busy busy! On Lola's actual b-day we went to the strawberry patch to pick some yummy strawberries with Lola's very special BFF Makenna! Then we jumped right into Daddy's b-day and had a fun day at Sea World, followed by a few other b-day parties including Makenna and Jack's! We also had Lola's 1 year check up and the Doctor was amazed by Lola to say the least! She is 27 lbs and 32 inches now (we went to the Doc this week) She is also saying the following words:

She loves blowing raspberries and laughs her little heart out after she does it! She is obsessed with her new Dolly and mini stroller that she got from her Grandma Arlene for her birthday and loves pushing it around the house and putting random things inside of it. The other day she had a piece of my costume jewelry (a bracelet). I asked her, "Lola... what is that in your hands hunnie?" She looked at me, put her head down, put it behind her back and ran away from me (P.S. with the bracelet in plain view as she still had it behind her back) STINKER!! I don't think I had ever laughed that hard in my life!

The past couple weeks have been rough... Lola got Roseola last weekend... went to the ER with a temp of 104.5. While there, I Lost my phone and they called my Dad and Grandparents.. lol! had a few day break and then started a cold this week... (at least that is what we think it is, it could be teething) all the while teething like crazy! She can't catch a break the poor kid! She is feeling much better though and has finally been sleeping very well and we are settling into our old routine :) Here a more pictures....

FINALLY!!

AN UPDATE! OMG! I KNOW YOU GUYS WERE ABOUT TO HUNT ME DOWN!

Well... Steve FINALLY bought a new router and my computer is back up and running! I would have downloaded all my pics to Steve's comp... but he is so anal about his computer because it is his work computer (Totally understand btw) and I wouldn't chance messing it up!

Quick update....

My computer is down so I have not had much time to get on the computer (I am sharing with the #1 comp hog in the US)

We had a BLAST in Sacramento! I already want to make another trip. Lola did so well on the plane ride there. She was laughing and smiling the whole time! Thank you "Nana" & "Papa" for letting us stay and teaching Lola "Peek-a-boo" and how to blow her nose! :) We love you guys so much and really wish we could spend more time with you!

Thank you Kristen for letting us stay with you! Lola had a super fun time with your girls and we love you!

Lola's party was a blast and I am pretty sure my strawberry cupcakes were a hit (Thanks for the recipe Grampa!!) Lola was so adorable in her little birthday dress and ate her cupcake like a pro! We boogied to music and ate Froots wraps. Thank you to everyone who came! Love to you all!

I am SO SO SO SO SO excited! Lola and I are coming to visit all you Sacramento-ins in less than a week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It will be SOOOO nice to spend some quality time with all of my family. It is long overdue! I am so excited for Aunties shower and getting to ACTUALLY spend time with you Kristen! For all of you who don't know Kristen... We have practically known each other since the womb and I am so not joking when I say that. Her Mom used to babysit me when she was pregnant! and no matter where life takes us we ALWAYS find each other one way or another. AND I am excited to see all you at the speedway as well! I cannot wait... I seriousley already started packing and I am not leaving till Saturday. I love you all so very much and am super excited!

A day at the beach...

Since San Diego's bi-polar weather decide to grant us a beautiful Sunday... we decided to hit the beach with Lola and let her play in the sand for the very first time! She has been moody all weekend since she is getting more teeth, so it took her a bit to warm up to the idea. After a little meltdown and a lot of coaxing she finally gave in and started playing with the sand and of course she LOVED it! Enjoy the pics!
